‘Dressage’ attends Pyongyang Int’l Filmfest

Pyongyang International film festival is to screen Iranian ‘Dressage’.

Iranian film ‘Dressage’ has been scheduled to go on the silver screen at the 16th edition of Pyongyang International Film Festival in North Korea.

 ‘Dressage’ is to represent Iran at the North Korean film event.

Directed by Pouya Badkoubeh, the flick has so far attended a number of international film events including the 8th “On the Edge” Sakhalin Film Festival in the US, the 2018 Melbourne International Film Festival in Australia, the 21st Shanghai International Film Festival in China, the 11th Granada International Film Festival in Spain, and the 65th Sydney International Film Festival in Australia.

Ali Mosaffa, Shabnam Moqaddami, Houshang Tavakkoli, Alireza Sanifar, Alireza Aqakhani, and Siamak Adib are among the cast.

The flick tells the story of Golsa and her friends who, motivated primarily by boredom rather than greed, decide to rob a corner shop.

While evaluating the robbery, they are dismayed to realize that they forgot to bring along the CCTV footage; so one of them must return to the crime scene and the vote falls on Golsa.

The Pyongyang International Film Festival is a biennial cultural exhibition held in Pyongyang, North Korea. The film festival is a very cosmopolitan event, especially in the more recent years

The 2018 edition of the event is slated for September 19-28, 2018.
